Professional Mentorship Programs

These programs are a one-of-a-kind fitness vacation offering professional mentorships for fitness enthusiasts, personal trainers, coaches, therapists, and other fitness and allied health professionals, the purpose of which is to provide a nonthreatening learning experience that enhances practical knowledge. This mentorship is not a certification; it is an educational experience. The training principles you will learn are tried and proven at IHP day in and day out—they are not theories in a book. There are no exams. You will learn at your own pace. While you are learning you will become part of the IHP family. You will sweat, laugh, play, eat, and train with the IHP training staff. It is truly a unique private or semiprivate learning experience that focuses on the application of simple but very effective training principles. Attendees receive a certificate of completion that may be petitioned for CEUs from national organizations.

You will…

  • train, play, and learn—all at the same time!
  • learn from some of the best practitioners in the country.
  • experience a no-pressure, fun learning environment.
  • interact personally and professionally with the IHP staff.
  • learn practical information that you can put to use immediately.
  • have hands-on training sessions.
  • earn CEUs for major national organizations.
  • receive a comprehensive course manual.
  • receive discounts on all IHP educational products.

IHP Professional Mentorships come in three different packages and include the unlimited use of our state-of-the-art facility for you and a guest!

One-Day Mentorship—$1000.00

Module #1 familiarizes the attendee with the basic training approach used at IHP—the 4 Pillars of Human Movement. The attendee will discuss the 4 Pillars model with an IHP staff member. Once the attendee fully understands the 4 Pillars model, the basic exercises used to train the 4 Pillars will be addressed in a practical discussion. Following the practical discussion, the attendee will shadow an IHP trainer to observe a session. This training session will be chosen by the attendee ahead of time and will cover the attendee’s client population and area of interest. The one-day mentorship culminates with a review of the day. During the review the attendee will have all final questions answered and concerns addressed. The review also gives the IHP staff member an opportunity to question the attendee to make sure that the basic points of the mentorship have been fully understood.

Module #1 at a glance (hours do not have to be consecutive):

  • 1 hour with an IHP personal trainer—4 Pillars discussion
  • 1 hour practical session with the IHP trainer—basic gross movements
