7 secrets to Profit in Personal Training PDF Print E-mail

Hello fitness professionals! I have discovered key secrets that have enabled me to grow a huge personal training business and will enable to take your personal training business to new levels. Each new blog that I post will become your roadmap to achieving success in the fitness industry.

One thing I have learned over the past 18 years in the fitness business is that it is not hard to set yourself apart from all of the other “trainers” out there. Trainers that possess that magic spark are few and far between. You can probably think of some people off the top of your head that fit into that category. Maybe you fit into that category. Regardless of where you are now, there is always room for improvement. It is my job to share with you my blueprint for growing my personal brand while growing and building a successful business model as a personal trainer.

So, my first question is, what have you done to set yourself apart? What would make someone walking into your gym choose you over the other personal trainers for hire?

There are so many fitness professionals or want to be fitness professionals that clearly do not understand the business side of being a true Professional Trainer. Some choose to treat their business as a job and wait for clients to walk through the door, others are proactive in bringing clients to them. Either way, YOU HAVE TO DO THINGS THAT ARE UNCOMFORTABLE IN YOUR BUSINESS TO ACHIEVE GREATNESS”.

Remember when you first got on the gym floor and had your first client? How nervous were you? Did you worry that the client may not like the session or you may injure them with certain exercises? That was the first step in being in the uncomfortable zone and you did not even know it. Let’s go forward now, three months later……you are perfecting your craft, having a great time with your client and the bonus is that your client has referred more clients to you. Amazing how we adapt so quickly if we are open to growth. Let’s fast forward to now. Have you continued to grow, or have you become complacent? Are you comfortable with just getting by, or do you want more?

I am willing to get into my uncomfortable zone in order to share my journey with you. Remember, you are not alone. The journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step. Let’s take those steps together.

Look out for the first secret in the next blog: “Do what you love and love what you do”.

Tell me times you have felt uncomfortable in training and how you delt with it. I would love to know.
