Dryland Training for Swimmers PDF Print E-mail
Here at IHP we take a very unique approach when training our swimmers.  Our strength training involves more than just traditional exercises.  We intergrate a variety of core exercises which work on core stability and rotational power.  We also use many expolsive medicine ball exercises to develop upper and lowewr body power. All of these exercises incorporate the muscles and movements involved in the sport of swimming.  Currently we are working with Elle Weberg who is preparing for the Olympic Trials that will be held from June 29th to July 6th in Omaha Nebraska. She has excelled in the gym and in the pool over the past year and we are all excited to see her performance in a couple weeks!  Stay tuned and we will keep you posted on how she performs.
