MOTIVATIONAL TIP #1

I would like to start off by congratulating all of my clients for their hard work and dedication to my efforts in helping them achieve their fitness goals! I find it very rare in this industry to find people who will both realize they need to do something for themselves and then work hard enough to achieve it.I consider myself very lucky to have the clientele that I do, you amaze me with your efforts each and every day! But that doesn’t mean its time to get comfortable!!! Here is a tip that has helped my clients stay true to their diet and exercise regimes:

Get it done early! - Anyone in the fitness industry would probably agree with me in saying his/her early morning troopers are the most faithful and usually a bit happier than the afternoon/evening clients. And its not because they work harder or are more dedicated. If you think about it very few surprises or stresses can happen if you wake up, grab a snack, check email, and go to the gym. If you schedule later in the day, the day itself wears on you. You get tired, stressed out, things come up, meetings run late, and that’s no mood to head to the gym with. Trainers, if you see grumpy lethargic attitudes in your evening clients, recommend a change to the morning. If they want to achieve their goal bad enough they will make no excuses!
